Britney Kimball has been dancing since 3 years old. After seeing a local studio perform for the first time, she pulled on her mom’s arm and said, “I want to dance like that someday.” Ever since that day she has never stopped. Britney grew up training in a range of styles like jazz, ballet, musical theatre, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop. After competing for many years, Britney got involved in more company work through the New England Dance Project and the annual performance of “The Nutcracker,” through the Rochester Opera House. She also had the opportunity to train in a number of conventions and summer intensives like The Hollywood Summer Tour, The International Summer Tour, and The Rockette Summer Intensive.
After graduating high school, Britney set off to New York City to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). After spending two years in New York at AMDA’s Conservatory Program she transferred to the Los Angeles campus to pursue her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts: Dance Theatre. In Los Angeles, she was able to work with a number of talented choreographers and artists in her training like Michelle Elkin, Marguerite Derricks, and Rhonda Malkin. Alongside performing, auditioning, and training, Britney has a passion for injury prevention and strength training for athletes and is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, SugarFoot Therapy, Barre and Beginner to Advanced L.evel Pilates.
